Finished day two in 6:30 – this was a hard, but spectacular 85 km! We crossed the Keurbooms River three times (and I managed to drop my front wheel into a deep hole at the first ford and flew over the handlebar and into the water). The winner did this course in an unbelievable 4 hours flat!

Tonight the sleepy Karoo town of Uniondale is all abuzz with some 3500 cyclists who have entered for the Karoo to Coast, the 100 km section that is also the last stage of the Dr.Evil.
