Jonas leading on the 30m grade 18 pitch 1 of Mithral, 11 bolts. This is a long, though fairly easy one, provided you managed the first 5 meters... You can of course cheat and go round the corner, but the real fun lies in hanging out on minimal grips while fidgeting with the first two quick-draws.

The quartzide ( a type of glazed sandstone, if I’m correct?) offers nice, sharp grips. Unfortunately, they tend to be the wrong way round, unless you want to climb head first, and down. Also, there is bugger all friction on this rock. When fear sets in and you begin to sweat you’ll leave a nice chalky smudge on the face.

Galadrial, the 21 grade option for pitch 1 up this face, goes right up the flat front section to the left of Jonas.
